I have spent several years training in emotionally focused therapy for couples and individuals. This therapy helps the couple or individual learn how their feelings create a cycle of engagement on how they navigate communication, conflict, and interpersonal relationships. Understanding this cycle help the couple and individual communicate emotions and needs more openly.
I am licensed to serve clients in the state of Ohio. I can see anyone in person at our Canton location if the client is able to get transportation but I do offer telehealth services to anyone in Ohio if I am in network or they want to pay the self-pay rate.
I have over 15 years experience as a social worker and have been working in counseling for the last 10 years. Trauma therapy has been where I’ve focused my education and interest in the last couple of years.
